Large coastal area of Larnaca to remain without drinking water until 2:00 PM
Drinking water supply will be interrupted today, October 30, until 2:00 PM in a wide coastal area of Larnaca due to scheduled infrastructure improvement works, the Larnaca District Local Authority reported.
According to the authority, the outage will affect the coastal strip from the old GSZ to the Mackenzie area (south of Artemis Avenue) in the municipal district of Larnaca.
Consumers are advised to use water sparingly and rely on reserves stored in private tanks until the desalination facility resumes operation. The statement emphasizes that efficient use of available reserves will help combat the ongoing drought affecting the region.
The District Authority apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the temporary water supply interruption.
