Four People Injured in Car Accident in Limassol: Elderly Woman in Intensive Care
Four individuals were injured in a car accident in Limassol, with a 72-year-old woman currently hospitalized in serious condition in the intensive care unit.
According to the police press office, the accident occurred yesterday morning when a 19-year-old man was driving on the Kanto-Omodos road and collided with a vehicle driven by a 76-year-old man.
Both drivers, along with two passengers from the vehicles, suffered injuries in the crash. All four were transported by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital. The 19-year-old driver sustained rib fractures, while the 76-year-old also suffered from fractures. One of the injured individuals has since been discharged from the hospital.
The 72-year-old passenger in the second vehicle sustained multiple injuries and underwent surgery at a private hospital in Limassol. She is currently in the intensive care unit for further treatment, and her condition is being assessed by her medical team as serious.
The causes of the collision are under investigation by the Pachna police station.
