Fight at Juvenile Detention Center in Limassol Leaves Three Injured
A serious incident took place this morning at the juvenile detention center in Zakaki, Limassol.

The altercation, which involved a group of teenagers throwing stones, resulted in injuries to two teenagers and one woman. All three were taken to the city’s general hospital for treatment.
According to preliminary reports, the conflict began around 12:30 PM when a local resident complained to Social Welfare Service staff about the noise being caused by the minors. In response, the teenagers began throwing stones at a neighboring house.
The situation escalated when neighbors intervened and entered the building where the teenagers were housed, leading to a physical confrontation.
Police arrived at the scene and called for an ambulance, which transported two of the minors to the general hospital in Limassol for medical examination.
Additionally, a woman who reported injuries from the fight was also taken to the hospital.
The altercation also caused damage to a vehicle parked on the premises.
The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
