Major Accident Closes Highway in Cyprus: Two Hospitalized
A major accident occurred on Monday morning on the Kofinou-Larnaca highway in Cyprus, resulting in two people being hospitalized.
According to the police press office, the accident happened around 11 a.m. A car traveling from Kofinou to Larnaca veered off the road and collided with a vehicle parked on the roadside.
Due to the collision, police had to close the highway. Traffic was redirected to the old road leading to Larnaca. According to the police, two individuals were transported to the hospital.
Drivers are urged to exercise caution, adhere to speed limits, and maintain a safe distance.
The causes of the accident are currently under investigation.
