By July 2024, Cyprus will launch 20 new e-services
By July 2024, the Republic of Cyprus will introduce 20 new electronic services. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Research, Nikodemos Damianou.
These include the issuance and renewal of identity cards and passports, reissuance of birth and death certificates, as well as issuance of military status certificates.
According to the deputy minister, within a year, the gov.cy portal and the digital citizen application will be ready for operation.
Nikodemos Damianou noted that during 2024, the ministry will develop digital services, including the issuance of military status certificates for the Ministry of Defense and services of the civil registry office. Applications for the issuance and renewal of identity cards and passports, as well as re-registration and issuance of birth and death certificates, can be submitted electronically.
Additionally, there will be an online system where teachers will be informed about meetings, replacements, and transfers.
