Cypriot Animal Rescuers Share Heartwarming Video of Kitten Rescue
Animal rights activists in Cyprus have shared a touching video of a tiny kitten being rescued — and what happened next made the moment even more emotional. As soon as the kitten was pulled to safety, its mother came running over.
Anti Mouzouri, coordinator of the Animal Action Group of the Ecological Movement “Citizens' Cooperation,” posted the video on social media and expressed her gratitude to the rescue team. The footage shows the kitten stuck inside a concrete divider, and part of the structure had to be broken to free it.
“Huge thanks to the firefighters of Cyprus who came to the rescue of a trapped kitten. This team always shows such kindness and sensitivity toward animals! It was incredibly moving to see the mother rush to her baby right after it was freed. A mother’s love is powerful — and it’s the same, whether in humans or in animals,” Mouzouri wrote.
