The Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General has arrived again in Cyprus
The Personal Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Maria Angela HolguínCuéllar, has arrived in Cyprus. Today, she will begin the second round of negotiations on the island: the diplomat will meet with the President of the TRNC, Ersin Tatar.
The first meeting within the framework of the second phase of contacts of the UN Secretary-General's envoy on the Cyprus issue will take place at the Presidential Palace at 11:15.
Also at the beginning of the week, Maria Angela Holguín Cuéllar will meet with representatives of political parties and the leader of the Greek Cypriot administration, Nikos Christodoulides.
It is expected that she will stay in Cyprus for about a week or 10 days. Last week, the Colombian diplomat held a series of high-level contacts on Cyprus in England.
