Limassol is preparing for the carnival — applications for participation are now open

From November 11 the Limassol Municipality begins accepting applications to participate in the Grand Carnival Parade of 2026.
According to the announcement of the municipality, applications can be submitted from 08:00 to 14:00 starting November 11. At the first stage — only for participants of the 2025 parade who complied with all established rules.
For those who violated the regulations last year, as well as for new participants, registration will open on November 12. The last day to submit applications is December 12 until 13:00.
All those wishing to take part in the parade with a float or a walking group must personally visit the Office of Cultural Services at Ayios Andreou Street, 253 (tel. 25745919) to fill out the participation form and familiarize themselves with the new rules.
The municipality emphasizes that applications are not accepted by phone or online, and groups with inappropriate themes or costumes reduced to “sports shorts and a tank top” will not be considered.
