Heavy rain in Paphos led to flooded roads
In Paphos, an intense downpour occurred during the day on 25 November, causing some road sections to flood. Traffic moved slowly, with puddles and localized flooding in places; however, no serious consequences were recorded.
According to local services, the prolonged drought helped prevent large-scale flooding — the dry soil absorbed most of the precipitation. Minor problems were reported in basements and open areas.
Official data on inflows into reservoirs are expected to be published tomorrow.
