The Ministry of Transport warns about road works in Nicosia, Limassol, and Larnaca

The Ministry of Transport has announced a series of scheduled works that will affect key highways and urban roads across the island. Drivers are advised to adjust their routes in advance and follow the temporary road markings.
Saturday, November 23
Limassol: Pareklisia — Eptagonia section, 07:00–16:00
Road surface repairs are underway. Traffic will be regulated by traffic lights, with passage in one lane.
Sunday, November 24
Nicosia: Limassol Avenue (between Aglantzia and Armenias), 20:00–06:00
Night-time asphalt works. Traffic will be fully closed in both directions.
If necessary, the works will continue on November 25 — partially, only in the direction of the city center.
November 24 — December 19 (except Sundays)
Highway from Larnaca Airport toward Ayia Napa, 08:30–16:30
Vegetation clearing and trimming will be carried out. The shoulder will be closed along the entire highway.
November 25 — December 4 (Mon–Thu)
Limassol — Nicosia highway, 20:00–05:30
Night repair works. One lane in the direction of Nicosia will be unavailable.
November 25–28
Larnaca — Nicosia (Rizoelia — Athenou), 07:30–15:00
Cleaning works. Partial closure of the shoulder.
November 26–27
Limassol — Nicosia (industrial zones of Kotsiatis and Dali), 21:00–05:30
Road surface replacement.
All three lanes toward Nicosia will be closed — traffic will be temporarily diverted to the opposite side.
The exit to Kotsiatis will be closed.
November 27–28
Kofinou — Larnaca, 08:30–14:30
Shoulder restoration, the left lane will be closed.
November 29–30 (weekend)
Nicosia — Larnaca highway and Nicosia — Akaki road, 06:30–13:30
Installation of new reflective road studs and replacement of old ones on the central median line.
Drivers are asked to observe speed limits in work zones and allow extra travel time, especially in the morning and evening.
