Cyprus Ministry of Health withdraws a batch of Durex condoms from the market

The Cyprus Ministry of Health has ordered the immediate removal from sale of a batch of Durex Feel Thin condoms with batch number 1001822485 and an expiration date of June 2029.
According to the ministry, inspections revealed that the products do not meet established safety and quality standards. The use of this batch may pose a potential health risk.
The Medical Devices Control Service has urged consumers not to use the specified condoms and to return them to points of sale. The products have been declared counterfeit.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health, together with other competent authorities, is investigating how the product entered the Cypriot market and is taking measures for its complete withdrawal.
