Extremely Hot Weather Expected in Cyprus on June 12: Temperatures to Exceed 40°C
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Wednesday, June 12, the region will be influenced by a warm air mass.
The weather will be mostly clear during the first half of the day.
The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures will rise to 41°C in inland areas, 34°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 33°C on the northern coast, and 31°C on the western coast and in mountainous regions.
In the evening, the weather will remain mostly clear. Later, local light haze or fog and low clouds are expected to form, primarily in the southeast. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 23°C inland and along the coasts, and to 22°C in the mountainous regions.
Temperatures are expected to gradually rise through Friday and remain significantly above average on Saturday.
