On May 17th, Cyprus anticipates clear but dusty weather
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, weak high pressure will prevail over the region on Friday, May 17th, with dust once again present in the air, its concentration intermittently increasing.
During the first half of the day, expect predominantly clear skies, though periods of increased and then moderate cloudiness will occur.
The meteorological service forecasts daytime temperatures rising to 33°C inland, 27°C along the coast, and dropping to 25°C in mountainous regions.
By evening, the weather will mostly remain clear, though occasional spells of moderate to high cloudiness may occur.
Temperatures will drop to 18°C inland, 20°C along the coast, and 15°C in mountainous areas. Over the next three days, significant temperature rises are expected, surpassing average climatic values.
Temperature increases are anticipated to continue until Sunday, well above seasonal averages.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are expected to be mainly clear but notably warm for the season, with occasional periods of increased cloudiness, primarily high clouds.
