On April 19, a dusty storm persists in Cyprus, with possible rain in the mountains
According to the Cyprus Meteorology Department, on Friday, April 19, the region continues to be affected by weak low pressure. Fine dust remains in the atmosphere, the concentration of which may temporarily increase from Saturday.
Today, during the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear, with temporary increases in cloudiness in some areas; isolated weak rain is possible in the mountains. The wind will mainly be southwesterly and northwesterly.
According to the meteorological service forecast, daytime temperatures will rise to 26°C inland, 23°C on the southwest, west, and north coasts, 24°C on the southeast and east coasts, and 19°C in mountainous areas.
By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear, but low clouds may increase along the coast. Additionally, occasional increased cloudiness will be observed. In the morning hours, light fog or mist may form in inland and eastern areas.
Air temperatures will drop to around 14°C inland, 15°C on the coasts, and 11°C in mountainous areas.
Until Monday, temperatures will not change significantly and will remain slightly above the seasonal average.
