Rain and Very Strong West Winds Expected in Cyprus on May 24th
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, the region will be influenced by weak low pressure and strong to very strong west winds on Friday, May 24th.
In the first half of the day, locally increased clouds will periodically appear, potentially leading to isolated showers and thunderstorms in the southern and eastern regions during the second half of the day.
The meteorological service forecasts that daytime temperatures will rise to 29°C inland, in the southeast, and along the eastern coast, reaching 26°C on the remaining coasts, and dropping to 20°C in mountainous areas.
By evening, the weather is expected to be predominantly clear, although some areas may experience increased cloudiness.
Temperatures will decrease to 17°C inland, 18°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 19°C on the western and northern coasts, and 11°C in mountainous regions.
The air temperature will gradually rise until Sunday, hovering around average climatic values, with a slight decrease anticipated on Monday.
