In Cyprus, a 25-year-old woman was sentenced to 10 years in prison for 9.5 kilograms of cannabis
This morning, a court in the Republic of Cyprus sentenced a 25-year-old woman to ten years of imprisonment for attempting to smuggle approximately 9.5 kilograms of cannabis into the country.
It is known about the convicted woman that she was arrested at Larnaca airport in September. Upon arrival on an international flight, customs conducted a search of her luggage.
During the inspection, five nylon bags were found, containing a total of 9.5 kilograms of marijuana.
