On April 8th, rains and thunderstorms are expected in Cyprus
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, April 8th, the region will be affected by low pressure and unstable air masses.
Today, in the first half of the day, variable cloudiness is expected, with possible isolated showers, mainly in the mountains. Gradually, however, the cloudiness will increase, accompanied by local showers and isolated thunderstorms. Hail is possible during thunderstorms.
According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature will rise to 24°C in inland areas, up to 22 degrees on the coast, and up to 12°C in mountainous areas during the day.
By evening, the weather will be predominantly cloudy, with brief showers expected, and in the west, south, and east - isolated thunderstorms.
The air temperature will drop to around 10°C in inland areas, to 13 degrees on the coast, and to 5°C in mountainous areas.
It is expected that in the coming days, the temperature will fluctuate at the same levels, close to the average climatic indicators. Gradual warming is expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
