Two Cars Set Ablaze Within an Hour Overnight in Cyprus
Two cars went up in flames in separate incidents overnight in Cyprus, with just an hour between them.
According to emergency services, the first fire broke out at 12:40 AM in the Moutallos area of Paphos. Firefighters quickly responded and managed to extinguish the flames. The front of the vehicle was damaged, though the full extent of the destruction is still being assessed.
Roughly an hour later, at around 1:30 AM, a second car caught fire in the village of Korakou. Fire crews were again dispatched to the scene and successfully put out the blaze. However, this vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Police say the causes of both fires are still unknown. Investigations have been launched to determine what led to the incidents.
