Cooling and Unstable Weather Expected in Cyprus
An unstable air mass has temporarily settled over the region, and from Thursday, the island will come under the influence of a cold front.
Variable cloudiness is expected tonight. Winds will be mainly northwestern, 3–4 on the Beaufort scale. The sea will be slightly restless. Temperatures will drop to +6°C inland, around +9°C on the coast, and to +1°C in the mountains, where localized frost is possible.
Tomorrow the weather will be mostly clear, but local cloudiness and brief showers are possible in the afternoon, mainly in mountainous areas. Southwestern and northwestern winds of 3–4 Beaufort are expected, increasing to 5 Beaufort on the southern coast by evening. Daytime temperatures will rise to +19°C in most areas and up to +9°C in the mountains.
