Cyprus Extends Deadline for Paying Traffic Camera Fines
The deadline for paying fines issued based on traffic camera violations in Cyprus has been extended. Initially set for March 31, the deadline has now been pushed back to April 30.
According to the traffic police, this extension applies to violations recorded by the camera system between January 1, 2022, and September 30, 2024.
"Due to the positive public response, high demand on the payment platform, and the upcoming holidays, we have decided to extend the payment deadline by one month," traffic police sergeant Tassos Ashikkis told Cyprus Mail.
Authorities are urging drivers to check for any outstanding fines on the official website, where they can also view the amount owed and make payments by the new deadline.
For any questions regarding violations or payments, drivers can contact the helpline at 8000 8009 (Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00).
