Cyprus to Host Car Rally to Raise Funds for Cancer Research
A car rally in support of the Cyprus Cancer Association will be held on March 15-16. The event is open to both classic and modern vehicles.
The rally, titled "48 Hours of Cyprus," will start on Saturday, March 15, at 1:00 PM from the Arodafnousa Palliative Care Center in Strovolos. Participants will follow a scenic route through the Troodos Mountains, with the first day concluding at the Annabelle Hotel in Paphos.
On Sunday, March 16, participants will depart from the Annabelle Hotel to explore the Paphos area before returning to the hotel for the awards ceremony.
The entry fee is €100 per team (driver and navigator) for both days, or €70 for Sunday only. Additional participants will be charged €35 per day, and children under 12 can join for €15. The fee covers meals, but accommodation must be booked separately. Registration closes on Monday, March 10, 2025.
The "48 Hours of Cyprus" rally is organized by the Cyprus Federation of Classic Cars and has been held annually since 2003.
