Prison Visiting Hours to be Extended in Cyprus for Easter
In anticipation of Easter in Cyprus, prisoners will be allowed additional meetings with first-degree relatives without prior authorization.
According to the Department of Prisons, visitors must carry an ID card or passport. Visits will take place from Good Friday to Easter Monday according to a set schedule.
Visiting hours are from 08:00 to 13:00, with a duration of up to 30 minutes. Visitors are asked to book in advance by phone.
It is also noted that the delivery of clothing to prisoners will not be carried out during these days, except for newly admitted inmates.
