Record-Breaking €19.8 Million Jackpot Won in Cyprus
A lucky resident of the Republic of Cyprus has won a staggering €19.8 million in the “Joker” lottery, setting a new record for the biggest jackpot in the island’s history.
The draw took place on January 30, and the winning ticket, number “2865”, matched all the drawn numbers: 4, 7, 30, 34, 37, and the Joker number 18.
Lottery officials have not disclosed where the winning ticket was purchased.
Before this, the largest “Joker” jackpot was €19.3 million, won on April 10, 2010. The “Joker” lottery is played in Greece and Cyprus.
