In Cyprus, the issuance of property ownership documents is being expedited
The Association of Developers of the Republic of Cyprus announced the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to expedite the issuance of documents confirming property ownership. According to the new procedure, the title must be issued within three months.
The announcement was made the day after the Minister of Internal Affairs, Konstantinos Ioannou, stated that bureaucratic delays related to planning and construction permits would soon be a thing of the past.
At that time, the minister mentioned that a new procedure would be introduced shortly, reducing the waiting time for the issuance of property ownership documents to three months.
According to the association, this decision can be considered a significant achievement, and if implemented, it could help address a chronic issue.
