Public electronic services in Cyprus temporarily unavailable on October 17–18
The Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy has announced scheduled maintenance to upgrade the technical infrastructure of the Population Registry information systems of the Ministry of the Interior and the Migration Department of the Deputy Ministry of Migration and International Protection. Electronic services will be unavailable from 13:00 on October 17, 2025, until 08:00 on October 18, 2025.
During this period, related tools and services will be affected, including digital services available on the gov.cy portal: applications for social insurance, social welfare, and services of the Department of Agriculture.
Electronic services of the Land Registry portal and the function for adding new digital documents in the “Digital Citizen” app will also be temporarily suspended.
The Deputy Ministry stated that it is making every effort to complete the work as soon as possible to minimize inconvenience to the public and expressed gratitude to residents for their understanding and cooperation.
