On Epiphany in Cyprus, clear weather and high pressure are expected

According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, on Friday, January 5th, the region continues to be affected by weak low pressure, but tomorrow, weak high pressure is expected.

Today, in the first half of the day, there will be locally increased cloudiness in the western half of the island, with possible isolated rains. In most areas of the eastern half, the weather will be predominantly sunny. Gradually, starting from noon, isolated showers in the west will weaken and cease.

According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime air temperature today will rise to 22°C in the inland areas, up to 23°C in the southeast and on the eastern coast, up to 21°C on the remaining coasts, and around 10°C in mountainous areas.

By evening, the weather will be predominantly clear, with cloudiness increasing in some western areas. In the morning hours, the formation of locally thin fog or even low clouds is possible, mainly in the inland areas and the east. The air temperature will drop to about 7°C in the inland areas, to 12°C on the coast, and to 5°C in mountainous areas.

On Epiphany, the weather will be predominantly clear, with increased cloudiness expected in some places, mainly in the second half of the day.

Until Sunday, the temperature will not change significantly, and on Monday, it will slightly decrease but will continue to fluctuate above the average climatic values.
