Georgian Man Found Dead in Limassol on Christmas: Alcohol Abuse Suspected
On Christmas Day, residents of Limassol discovered the lifeless body of a man on the street. According to preliminary findings, the deceased had been heavily abusing alcohol.

Police reported that they were informed about the discovery around 9:15 p.m. on Christmas evening. Local residents notified authorities that an unconscious man was lying in the Enaerios area of Limassol. Emergency services were immediately dispatched, and the man, aged 52, was taken to the hospital. However, doctors on duty could only confirm his death upon arrival.
The deceased was later identified as a Georgian national. Preliminary tests revealed that he had consumed a substantial amount of alcohol before his death.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the sudden death of the foreign national. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the precise cause of death.
