On Christmas Day in Paphos, a major accident occurred involving six casualties
In Paphos yesterday, a significant traffic accident took place, resulting in six people being injured. One of them is in critical condition.
According to the police, the accident happened yesterday around 4:00 PM on the Stroumbi – Tsada road. Under unclear circumstances, two fully occupied cars collided, including several young children.
Due to the impact, one of the cars was thrown onto the opposite lane, where a collision occurred with a third vehicle.
As a result of the accident, the 57-year-old driver of the third car suffered the most. Initially, he was taken to the Paphos hospital and later transferred to a general hospital in Nicosia. According to doctors, his condition is critical.
Two underage children and their parents, as well as a 20-year-old woman who was in the first car, were transported by ambulance to the general hospital in Paphos. As a precautionary measure, they are under medical observation.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the Paphos Traffic Police in collaboration with the Stroumbi police station.
