Nicosia collects humanitarian aid for victims of the Limassol fires
The Nicosia authorities have launched an emergency relief campaign for residents of the mountain communities of Limassol affected by the large-scale wildfire. A collection point for essential items has been opened at Makario Stadium in the Makedonitissa area.
The municipality urges everyone to donate:
- canned and dry food,
- drinking water and ice,
- clothing and bedding,
- kitchen utensils and plates,
- medical masks,
- burn cream and other first aid items.
The collected items will be distributed to those in need who lost their homes or belongings in the fire. Humanitarian aid coordination is being carried out by Nicosia services in cooperation with volunteers.
