Results of Cyprus-Wide Entrance Exams Announced
The Republic of Cyprus has announced the results of the entrance exams used for admission to universities in Cyprus and Greece. This year, 5,351 candidates took part in the exams.
Minister of Education Athena Michaeildou remarked that "this year’s Cyprus-wide exams were a complete success."
According to the minister, there are 2,993 spots available in higher education institutions on the island, including 1,589 places at the University of Cyprus and 1,298 at the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK).
In addition, 106 candidates applied to military academies in Greece.
Students can view their exam results on the Ministry of Education's website: www.moec.gov.cy.
The Cyprus Association of Parent Associations congratulated all students who have been admitted to universities.
