The Anti-Narcotics Division conducted raids in Nicosia and Limassol
As part of the investigation into two drug possession cases, the Cyprus police carried out raids in Nicosia and Limassol. During the special operation, four suspects were arrested.
Specifically, yesterday evening, based on a court order, officers from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (YKAN) conducted a search in a house in Nicosia.
During the investigation, which was conducted in the presence of three men aged 19, 21, and 22, approximately 250 grams of white crystalline substance and about 60 grams of marijuana were found in various nylon bags.
All three suspects were arrested and remanded in custody.
Additionally, yesterday afternoon, YKAN members conducted searches at the house of a 30-year-old man in Limassol, where they discovered and seized about 110 grams of cannabis, as well as accurate scales containing traces of marijuana.
The 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession. He has been remanded in custody for further investigation.
