Chase in Limassol ends in collision with police vehicle and officer injured

A serious chase took place in Limassol, ending in a crash and the arrest of suspects. According to police, a vehicle carrying several people failed to stop when ordered by officers, prompting a pursuit.
During the chase, the suspects’ car collided with a police patrol vehicle, resulting in injuries to one police officer. In addition, after the vehicle was stopped, the detainees allegedly attacked another individual, causing severe bodily injuries.
The victim was taken to hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit. One of the detainees is also under medical supervision.
Police continue to investigate the incident, determining all circumstances, including the reasons for the escape and the level of involvement of each detainee.
