Police Destroy More Than 80 Kilograms of Drugs
More than 80 kilograms of narcotic substances were destroyed by the anti-drug unit.
These are prohibited substances seized as part of investigations into 530 cases in the Limassol and Larnaca districts. Destruction is carried out regularly in all districts of the country.
According to the police, the procedure takes place under strict supervision and in the presence of representatives from the pharmaceutical services and the state laboratory.
The destroyed drugs were previously used as physical evidence in cases where judicial proceedings have already been concluded.
