After the rains in Larnaca, mosquito control will be intensified
The Health Service of the Larnaca Municipality reports that it is necessary to intensify the fight against mosquitoes in the city due to the increase in the number of these insects.
It is reported that the surge is caused by their eggs hatching in stagnant water formed after recent heavy rains.
Currently, important areas in the municipality such as rainwater collection grids, channels, and areas around salt ponds are being sprayed.
For any information regarding the fight against bloodsucking insects, members of the public can contact the Larnaca Municipality Complaints Department at 24816530 or the Health Service at 24816557/559.
