Fire broke out in a house in Paralimni
A fire broke out this morning in a residential building in Paralimni (Famagusta district). The fire started in the kitchen at around 06:36.
Firefighters from the Famagusta station arrived promptly at the scene and managed to contain the fire by 07:05.
As a result of the fire and high temperatures, part of the kitchen furniture and equipment was damaged, while smoke spread throughout the house, damaging the wall surfaces.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was an overheated charger located in the kitchen.
