THE PRESIDENT OF CYPRUS WILL VISIT QATAR FOR A ONE-DAY VISIT
Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades will undertake an official one-day visit to Qatar with the aim of discussing the situation in the Middle East, the Cyprus issue, and bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, investments, and education.
The President will be received by the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, at his palace.
Later on the same day, in the presence of the leaders of both countries, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in higher education between Cyprus and Qatar will be signed.
Afterwards, the Qatari leader will host a lunch in honor of President Anastasiades.
President Anastasiades is expected to return to Cyprus on Monday evening.
