Animal rescue shelter in Paphos must vacate the territory by the end of the year

Volunteers of the animal rescue shelter located in the center of Paphos have contacted the editorial office with new information about the situation of the shelter, which the portal had already covered earlier. According to them, the land on which the shelter is located has been sold to a developer. The organization must completely vacate the territory by the end of the year, and about six weeks remain to relocate all the animals.
According to the volunteers, the shelter has switched to an emergency evacuation режим. At present, it is necessary to reduce the number of animals as much as possible. The shelter is looking for families willing to take in a dog or a cat for permanent adoption or for free temporary foster care. Other shelters that could take in at least some of the animals are also being sought.
The shelter’s territory remains open, and anyone can come to the location and take a pet. The volunteers emphasize that in the conditions of limited time, help with transport, temporary accommodation, and resources for relocating the animals is also needed.
How to help the shelter:
• Come to the geolocation and take an animal.
• Contact the shelter via Instagram.
• Support the funds collection
