Cool weather in Cyprus: first snow falls in the mountains

Cool weather has arrived in Cyprus. The island is experiencing variable cloudiness, with precipitation possible in some areas. The wind is moderate, occasionally strengthening to gusts in some places.
Daytime temperatures remain low: around +16°C in Limassol and Larnaca, up to +15°C in Ayia Napa and Paphos, and up to +17°C in Nicosia.
It is noticeably colder in the mountainous areas. In the Troodos range, temperatures do not exceed +8°C, and the first snow of the season fell there yesterday evening. Mountain roads may have fog and reduced visibility — drivers are urged to be especially careful.
Sea water temperatures along the coast remain relatively warm — around 20–21°C.
