Five parcels containing 25 kg of cannabis seized in Famagusta province
In recent days, the Anti-Narcotics Department, in cooperation with similar services from foreign countries, detected and seized five parcels sent via courier companies to the Famagusta province. A total of 25 kilograms of cannabis were found in the parcels.
The seizures took place in two separate cases, with information received and confirmed by the relevant authorities. Further inspections and investigative actions are being carried out by the Famagusta District Anti-Narcotics Department.
Officials do not provide additional details about the recipients or the shipping routes. The investigation is ongoing, and further results will be announced upon completion of the checks.
