Dust, Rain, and Thunderstorms: Weather in Cyprus on April 30th

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, April 30th, weak low pressure affects the region. Dust in the atmosphere will persist until Wednesday, with its concentration significantly increasing in the coming days.

Today, in the first half of the day, there will be occasional increased cloudiness, while in the second half of the day, rain, and thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the mountains and inland areas of the country. Hail is possible during thunderstorms.

According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature will rise to 32°C during the day in inland areas, to 28°C on the southern and eastern coasts, to 25°C on the western and northern coasts, and to 21°C in mountainous regions.

By evening, occasionally increased cloudiness will be observed. The air temperature will drop to 19°C inland, as well as on the southern and eastern coasts, to 17°C on the western and northern coasts, and to 15°C in mountainous areas.

In the coming days, the air temperature will gradually decrease slightly but will remain above average climatic values.
