Dust in the Air and Intermittent Rain: Cyprus Weather Forecast for April 24
The Republic of Cyprus Department of Meteorology reports that moderate low atmospheric pressure will prevail across the region on Thursday, April 24. Fine dust will remain suspended in the air throughout the day.
The morning is expected to bring partly cloudy skies, with a chance of brief, scattered showers in some areas. The sea will be slightly rough, with a few spots experiencing more turbulent conditions. According to the forecast, daytime temperatures will rise to around 27°C inland, 22–24°C along the coast, and approximately 18°C in the mountains.
This evening, the weather will remain partly cloudy with occasional rain expected, mainly in the west, north, and east of the island. As the night progresses, patchy fog may develop—especially in inland and eastern areas. Overnight temperatures will drop to around 11°C inland, 15°C on the coasts, and about 9°C in mountainous regions.
Looking ahead to Friday and Saturday, the weather will stay partly cloudy with isolated showers likely in some areas. Thunderstorms could develop in the afternoon, particularly inland and in the eastern part of the island. Temperatures are expected to remain steady through Sunday.
