Family of 42-year-old patient demands investigation after severe stroke in hospital

The family of a 42-year-old woman is demanding a full investigation into the circumstances under which the patient ended up in a coma with a severe stroke following surgery.
According to relatives, the surgical procedure was performed on January 16, and initially, the woman’s condition was assessed as satisfactory. However, by January 18, the family was informed that the patient had suffered a serious stroke and was in a comatose state.
Medical records indicate that at 6:20 a.m. that day, the woman was found on the floor in the restroom — half-undressed and wet. It is known that she had previously complained of severe dizziness and had asked not to have her catheter removed. Additionally, the evening before, the patient had contacted relatives requesting assistance to get to the restroom, but according to the family, she did not receive any help.
It is assumed that the woman attempted to get up on her own, lost her balance, fell, and sustained serious injuries that may have led to the stroke.
The family has stated its intention to contact the police and insists on a thorough investigation of the incident. The matter is currently being examined by the Organization of State Health Services (OKΥπΥ) in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
