Serious Traffic Accident on the Paphos — Limassol Highway: 25-Year-Old Passenger in Critical Condition
On the evening of September 26, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Paphos — Limassol highway in Cyprus, resulting in injuries to a 25-year-old woman.
According to eyewitnesses and initial reports, the car driven by a 25-year-old woman collided with the concrete central barrier near the Kandu exit towards the Episcope weigh station and stopped in the right lane. The passenger accompanying the driver, also 25 years old, exited the vehicle and stood between the car and the divider. She was hit by a passing vehicle and sustained severe injuries; her condition is described as critical.
The traffic police are investigating the circumstances of the incident. The accident caused significant disruptions to traffic in this section of the highway.
