Scandal Over Video on “Financing and Investors”: Police Launch Investigation

A major scandal has erupted in Cyprus following the publication of a video discussing financing, investors, and amounts reaching up to €150 million, allegedly linked to high-ranking individuals and state structures.
The content of the video raised serious questions about the legality of the origin of the funds and possible hidden agreements. Following the public outcry, an official complaint was filed, and the materials were forwarded to ΤΑΕ Λευκωσίας.
According to local media reports, the video mentions specific names and schemes, which served as grounds for launching an investigation. The probe is at an early stage; however, sources note that the case is considered potentially sensitive and politically significant.
No official comments on the substance of the allegations have been made so far. Authorities emphasize that the investigation aims to establish the facts and identify any possible violations of the law.
