Fatal Road Accident on Kathikas – Peyia Road
A fatal accident occurred on a section of the Kathikas – Peyia road in the Paphos district.
According to preliminary reports, the driver of a buggy lost control under circumstances being investigated while navigating a double bend and plunged into a ravine approximately 40 meters deep.
Fire service members and an ambulance crew arrived at the scene. The man was extracted from the vehicle and transported to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
The circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated by the Paphos traffic police.
