Temperature to Soar to 39°C: Weather Forecast for May 26
According to the Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department, Monday, May 26, will bring moderately low atmospheric pressure to the region. Dust will remain in the atmosphere throughout the day but is expected to gradually clear starting tomorrow.
The morning is forecast to be mostly sunny, though occasional cloud cover may develop, possibly bringing brief, light showers in some areas. The sea will be calm to slightly choppy, with light waves gradually appearing along the western coast.
Daytime temperatures are expected to climb to around 39°C inland, 30–32°C along the coasts, and up to 28°C in the mountains.
Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear. However, later in the evening, low cloud cover is expected to increase, especially in the western part of the island. Overnight temperatures will drop to around 18°C inland, 19–20°C along the coast, and about 15°C in mountainous regions.
A noticeable drop in temperatures is expected on Tuesday. From then until Thursday, no major changes are anticipated.
