Temperature to Reach 40°C: Weather in Cyprus for June 19
The Cyprus Meteorological Department reports that weak low pressure will continue to affect the region on Wednesday, June 19.
The first half of the day will be mostly clear. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise to:
- 40°C in the inland areas
- 34°C on the southern and eastern coasts
- 32°C on the western and northern coasts
- 30°C in the mountainous regions
By evening, the weather will remain mainly sunny. However, low clouds and light haze might form in the morning, particularly in the southeast.
Evening temperatures will decrease to:
- 24°C inland and on the coast
- 21°C in the mountainous areas
Thursday's temperatures are expected to remain significantly above average with little change. A gradual decrease in temperatures is forecast for Friday and Saturday.
