"Smart" Meters: Mass Installation to Begin in Several Cyprus Districts in March
In March, a large-scale installation of "smart" electricity meters will launch in specific regions of Cyprus.
The project aims to modernize the power supply system and will allow consumers to track electricity usage in real-time, improve billing transparency, and reduce technical losses.
According to energy services, the installation will be carried out in phases, and residents of the relevant areas will be notified in advance of the work.
It is expected that the introduction of "smart" meters will be an important step toward digitalizing energy infrastructure and managing energy consumption more effectively.
