In Aglantzia, the charitable campaign “Become Santa Claus” is taking place for children from families in need

The municipality of Aglantzia has launched the second annual charitable initiative titled “Become Santa Claus,” aimed at bringing Christmas cheer to children from families experiencing financial difficulties. As part of the campaign, 132 children will receive gifts. The campaign runs from December 15 to December 22.
The launch of the initiative was announced by Deputy Mayor of Aglantzia Andreas Konstantinou. He emphasized that such actions are especially important during the holiday season, as they allow children to feel care and attention that are not always available to their families. According to him, without community support, many of these children might be left without Christmas presents.
The municipality has compiled in advance a list of children who need assistance. Anyone wishing to take part in the campaign can contact the organizers by phone at 22797511. After contacting them, participants will be informed of the child’s age and gender so that the gift can be chosen according to the child’s interests.
The prepared gift must be delivered to the ACS Courier Cyprus branch in the Platy area, indicating the child’s details on the package. The courier service is a partner of the campaign and will ensure delivery of all gifts directly to the children’s homes in Aglantzia on Christmas Eve.
The initiative is being implemented with the joint support of the Aglantzia municipality and the company ACS. The organizers call on city residents to show solidarity and help ensure that every child can feel the spirit of Christmas.
