A Fire Broke Out on the Roof of a Hotel in Ayia Napa
On Tuesday evening, a fire broke out on the roof of a hotel complex in Ayia Napa. Fire Service units promptly arrived at the scene.
The alarm was received at 18:39. Two fire engines and a hydraulic telescopic platform from the Famagusta station “Lochia Adamu Adamu” were deployed to extinguish the blaze. The fire was brought under control by 19:39.
According to preliminary information, the fire occurred during technical works and started on the suspended part of the roof of one section of the building. The fire was contained, and other areas of the hotel were not affected.
